Grafton Espace has for over 30 years been supporting leading space industry companies and institutions by tailoring its efforts to the specific needs of the client’s programmes and projects.
This support is in most engineering disciplines but also in Project Management, Bid Management and Bid Writing, Feasibility Studies and Investigations.
Over the years Grafton has been involved in many programmes including Ariane, ExoMars, Galileo, MTG, Proba, Sentinel, Small GEO, Vega and many others.

John Harris

John served his apprenticeship in precision engineering during which he attended technical college finishing his time in the drawing office. Soon after, he moved on to work in production design involving assembly jigs and fixtures. He then moved to Germany initially as a design engineer working on avionic test rigs. After this he worked as a general manager for a sub-contract design company prior to acting as an engineering consultant to a software company.
Upon returning to the UK in 1986 he worked briefly as a consultant before setting up Grafton Espace to support the space sector. As principle and managing director, John has gained a broad knowledge of the workings of the industry having worked closely with many companies on various projects, including their resource requirements.

Jack is the Senior Accounts Assistant at the company. He has been a proud member of the team for over three years. Jack particularly enjoys being part of a unique industry & working with such a diverse range of people. He is a supporter of local football club AFC Bournemouth.

Caroline studied Business and Management at Bournemouth University. In 2006 Caroline joined Grafton as a PA. After a year in that position she moved into the recruitment side of the business. Now with over 11 years’ experience she has built up an excellent rapport with engineers and clients.
