Our UK-based client is a leading provider of integrated avionics, engines, systems and service solutions for aircraft manufacturers, airlines, business and general aviation, military space and airport operations.

Our client is a global designer and manufacturer of space hardware and systems. They are world leaders in the production of space-qualified passive microwave equipment and specialized electronics. In addition, they provide micro-satellite mission solutions ranging from mission concept studies to launch and operations.

This is a rewarding, and exciting opportunity for a test engineer to join our team. Within this role, you will be an integral member of the team, responsible for the testing of components, and equipment for our internal and external customers. You will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of products within our site that are typically space hardware and systems.

This is a permanent position starting in March 2018. 



  • Production testing to defined test procedures
  • Methodical and Disciplined approach
  • Competent user of standard test equipment
  • Experience Digital and Analogue test techniques
  • Experience RF & Microwave test methods
  • Fault finding to component level
  • Preparation of test reports and test procedures
  • Tune & test of analogue, digital and RF circuits 
  • Tune & test of microwave components and sub-assemblies
  • Preparation of controlled test documentation (test procedures, test reports etc) in line with quality system



  • HNC/HND qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronic and RF/Microwave test methodologies
  • Familiar with COTS electrical and RF/Microwave test equipment
  • Experience fault finding at a component level
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
